Landtänzer is a beautiful stallion with outstanding, correct conformation. He descends from some of the best continental show jumping bloodlines. He combines a powerful and scopey jump with fantastic off-the-floor paces and a wonderful temperament.
Performance
Landtanzer started his competitive career in Great Britain in 2006 achieving wins and placings at Advanced-Medium, Advanced and Prix. St. George level. He gained several good placings at PSG level during the early part of the 2007 season and is qualified for the PSG Regional finals.
Pedigree
Landtänzer’s sire, Loutano, is by the world famous show jumper, Landgraf I, yet Loutano himself made his mark on the international circuit at Grand Prix level dressage with Margit Otto-Crepin. Loutano sired nine graded sons to date including Landtänzer, Lothringer and Lorentin Landtänzer's damsire, Cor de la Bryere, is one of the most influential Anglo-Norman show jumping stallions of all time, producing over 83 graded stallions such as: Calando, Cordalme, Concorde and Calypso II, who himself sired over 33 graded sons.
Progeny
Landtänzer sired the top prized foal at the KWPN foal auction at Maren-Kessel in 2002 (€18,000) which also went on to be crowned reserve mare champion at the Central Keuring in Gelderland just three years later (see below). His first crop of British foals was born in 2007 and all foals have inherited their sire's off-the-floor paces and super temperament.
