Libro has proved himself to be a very versatile stallion. He has the most amazingly easy temperament and he works to advanced medium level dressage. Libro's impressive BSJA winnings have increased to over £1,000 and he has approximately 250 British Dressage points.
Pedigree
Faust Z is by Furioso II, who was probably the most significant Oldenburg stallion, and possibly one of the most important and influential warmbloods. This stallion was a top money earner through his progeny, which include: Voltaire, Purioso, and his grandson Concorde. Bidorette comes from the famous Le Mexico and Alme Z line, and is the dam of the international show jumper, Fervent. She is also the dam of Brian Dye's young show jumper, Panama, who has recently been sold to Marge Goldstein of the USA. This talented stallion was graded with the SHB(GB) with a strong overall mark of nine.
Dr Senckenberg commented that, "Libro is an exceptional horse which would grade anywhere in Europe" (Horse & Hound, Nov 25th 1999).
Progeny
Libro is producing outstanding youngstock with beautiful heads and superb movement. From his first crop of foals, a three month old filly foal sold for 5,000 GNS at the Equillibra Elite Dressage Auction. Also, at the 2001 Brightwells British Bred Foal Show, three of his offspring were placed in the top twenty, and the filly foal went forward to the final top ten. In 2002, a four year old gelding from Libro's first crop of foals finished a creditable fourth in the style and performance class final at the Festival of Showjumping.
