Landtanzer

Landtanzer is a beautiful stallion with outstanding, correct conformation and an extraoridnary topline. He descends from some of the best continental show jumping bloodlines. He combines a powerful and scopey jump with fantastic off-the-floor paces and a wonderful temperament, which make him the ideal choice for breeding the ultimate performance horse. Landtanzer oozes presence as well as masculinity and has been described by many clients, trainers, spectators and fellow competitors as the 'ultimate' stallion type.

Performance

Landtanzer started his competitive career in Great Britain in 2006 achieving wins and placings up to Prix. St. George level. He gained several good placings at PSG level during the early part of the 2007 season and is qualified for the PSG Regional finals.

Landtänzer’s sire, Loutano, is by the world famous show jumper, Landgraf I, yet Loutano himself made his mark on the international circuit at Grand Prix level dressage with Margit Otto-Crepin. Loutano sired nine graded sons to date including Landtänzer, Lothringer and Lorentin. Landtänzer's damsire, Cor de la Bryere, is one of the most influential Anglo-Norman show jumping stallions of all time, producing over 83 graded stallions such as: Calando, Cordalme, Concorde and Calypso II, who himself sired over 33 graded sons.

Progeny

Landtänzer sired the top prized foal at the KWPN foal auction at Maren-Kessel in 2002 (€18,000) which also went on to be crowned reserve mare champion at the Central Keuring in Gelderland just three years later. She is now graded elite and is trained by Dutch Grand Prix rider Ilona Goris in Holland competing at Advanced-Medium level at the moment. His first crop of British foals was born in 2007 and all foals have inherited their sire's off-the-floor paces and super temperament. They are very good types with correct conformation.Landtänzer has proven that he can produce quality stock with all the attributes desired in successful sporthorses.
