Saturday 1st October 2011 - October Update
Former Winter Dressage Champion Armani by Libro won the British Riding Club Dressage to Music Championships at Aintree Racecourse. Congratulations to rider Verity Perry for another outstanding result for this lovely mare.

Meadow Stud homebred 6-year old Constant II (Carinjo x Burggraaf) qualified for the Foxhunter Blue Chip Final with Geoff Luckett

Also, Meadow Stud hombred Pro-Motion II (Pro-Set x Pik Trumpf), won the Advanced-Medium Qualifier at Abbey Dressage with resident rider Martin Schleicher.

Meadow Stud's 5-year old stallion Cash Point (Com Air x Chamonix) has returned from Holland after several good results in classes up to 1.25m and will be available at stud in 2012.

Former Meadow Stud stallion Pro-Set achieved a very good 5th place in the Grand Prix Freestyle with over 72% at the CDI Oslo/NOR with his rider and owner Lillan Jebsen. Frozen semen from Pro-Set is still availabe here at Meadow Stud.

Saturday 20th August 2011 - Brightwells Foal Sale
Congratulations to breeder Ed Royale and his stunning colt foal by Cash Point x Impuls, that was third highest priced foal and the highest priced by a British based and owned stallion.

Saturday 30th July 2011 - Team and Individual European Pony Champion Falaza is by Meadow Stud's Libro
The 2011 Team and Individual Gold medal winning Pony European chamopion Falaza, is by Meadow Stud's KWPN stallion Libro. Despite her 'horse breeding' (Libro x Embla George) Falaza measured in at 14.2hh and was this year's undiputed winner of the Pony European Show- Jumping Championships. Huge congratularions to Falaza and her jockey Beth Vernon.

Thursday 7th July 2011 - LIBRO
Meadow Stud had to say a final goodbye to our 18-year old Dutch Warmblood stallion Libro, who had to be humanely put down on Thursday 7th July 2011 due to severe colic following a bladder stone operation. He will be greatly missed, as Libro was a vital part in the growth and success of Meadow Stud, since he was purchased as a 2-year old. Libro’s dam Bidorette is also the mother of International Show-jumper Fervent and British Breeding champion Billy Mexico. Libro was a popular choice with breeders of all disciplines and leaves a legacy of offspring including Winter Dressage Champion Armani and Gatcombe CIC* winner Master Floub

Saturday 4th June 2011 - Homebred Constant II at Wales and West
Our homebred 6-year old Constant II (Carinjo x Burggraaf) placed 14th out of 108 in the Newcomer Second Round at Wales and West. Starting of with a 1.25m first round, Constant was one of 22 making it through to a 1.30m second round of which 15 made it through to a 1.35m jump off. Constant jumped fantastically and placed 14th, which at 6 ears of age is very promising start to his career.
